Located in southeast Wicren, this region is predominantly dense woodland, thinning at its edges. The land is rich in magic, which the elves are dedicated to preserving and studying. In the northeastern mystic woodlands, a half-mile-wide blackened pit, shadowed by colossal oaks, serves as the largest entrance to the Underdark. While the land’s magic is ancient, the earliest evidence of elven life dates to approximately 2500 BCE. The region’s elves remained isolated until the arrival of gnome travellers.
- Government. Yelgoe is governed by councils of elven subraces. Drow are granted equal political standing, though they primarily reside in the Underdark. Significant changes require unanimous agreement among all major subraces.
- Population. High elves and sylvan elves are the primary guardians of the land. Drow dwell in the nearby Underdark, while aquatic elves maintain two settlements: one in Bol Bay and one along the Yilve River.
- Capital. Situated at the Yilve River’s fork, Su Elint is a city built within the trees, with no tree displaced. A natural cavern system connects Su Elint to the aquatic elf settlement in the river. Dwellings integrated with tree trunks are considered blessed by magical spirits.”
